Prepare in Advance

Unlike most of the relaxing and therapeutic treatments that we offer at Scorpio's Peace & Polish, laser hair removal is slightly different. The permanent nature of this type of treatment means that it is necessary to prepare carefully in advance before scheduling an appointment. When you schedule an appointment with us, a member of our skin therapy team will go through some of the things that you need to do prior to the treatment. • Shave two to three days in advance of the treatment: When going for a laser hair removal treatment on your legs, it is important to find the happy balance. This means that you don't want the hair on your legs to be too long or too short. Having it too long would waste much of the laser treatment on unnecessarily long hairs. Similarly, waxing or shaving just before the treatment almost defeats the purpose of the laser hair removal work that will follow.
• Protect yourself from the sun and sun beds: At Scorpio's Peace & Polish, we recommend our clients to ALWAYS protect yourself from the sun.
